Some more wallpaper sweetness - Otter kids in Hagenbeck Zoo - Asian small-clawed otters (Aonyx cinereus) Hi guys and gals,
in continuation of my "sleeping animals" series here are two more cuties
doing what they do best :-) These, by the way, are Oriental small-clawed
otters - before I looked them up in the ISIS database, I didn't even
know that this species of animals existed :-)

The Asian small-clawed otter (Aonyx cinereus), also known as the oriental small-clawed otter and the small-clawed otter, is an otter species native to South and Southeast Asia. It has short claws that do not extend beyond the pads of its webbed digits. The Asian small-clawed otter lives in riverine habitats, freshwater wetlands and mangrove swamps. It feeds on molluscs, crabs and other small aquatic animals.
