Hi Shirley,
Thanks for the kind words. For bait I'm using assorted mixed nuts and
peanut butter. If just nuts are used the squirrels swoop down grab one
and then take off, of course with the peanut butter they can't do that.
This time of year when they form winter aggregations of up to 20 or more
in the same den to keep warm. I think the den near my house has 30 to 36
squirrels.
