The Heart-spotted Woodpecker (Hemicircus canente) is a species of bird in the Picidae family. It is found in Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
