They are back....
After losing their first chick a couple of months ago due to a poorly built
nest, our local pair have obviously had another try at parenthood.
Unfortunately a similar thing has happened with the little one falling down
in the windy weather we have been experiencing. On Sunday a neighbour
luckily found it, and bought it to me. I found the tree with the nest
remnants in it but no sign of parents, so I got the ladder and put it as
high up the tree as I could. Happily the last 2 days He has remained perched
in the same spot, and both parents are sitting with him during the day.
Fingers crossed this one makes it.
