The chestnut-bellied cuckoo (Hyetornis pluvialis) is a species of cuckoo in the Cuculidae family. The monotypic genus Hyetornis was dissolved by the American Ornithologists' Union, but this is not universally accepted. It is endemic to Jamaica. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and heavily degraded former forest. Order: Cuculiformes, Family: Cuculidae, Synonyms: Hyetornis pluvialis.
