The threespot wrasse, Halichoeres trimaculatus (Quoy & Gaimard, 1834), is a sea fish belonging to the family Labridae. It comes from the coral reefs of the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean, especially from Lord Howe Island, Sporades equatorial, Christmas Island and Japan. Swims in coastal areas with sandy bottoms, often rich in corals, no more than 30 m deep. Order	Perciformes, Family	Labridae.
