African olive pigeon, Rameron pigeon (Columba arquatrix) Description
English: African olive pigeons at a clay lick in Lynnwood Glen, in suburban Pretoria, South Africa. Up to 10 birds congregate at a time, with both sexes and various age groups present. The habit may well be related to consumption of poisonous Melia azedarach or Solanum seeds.

The African olive pigeon or Rameron pigeon (Columba arquatrix) is a pigeon which is a resident breeding bird in much of eastern and southern Africa from Ethiopia to the Cape.
