The ocellate river stingray or peacock-eye stingray (Potamotrygon motoro) is a species of freshwater stingray in the family Potamotrygonidae. It is widespread throughout much of the Río de la Plata, Amazon, Mearim and Orinoco basins in tropical and subtropical South America.
